We had a visit from an NHS occupational therapist who suggested a high-risk (for pressure sores) seat cushion that we could then modify for our use. Magically, it arrived at our door in 2 days, and my husband and I went to work. Sicily (the tumour... she's not 'mine', she is her own being) is quite a bitch and wanted her own space as she is now growing outside my body, so we are trying to be accommodating. It is memory foam on the top and denser (pink) foam on the bottom with what would have been a waterproof cover had we not carved into it as Sicily insisted. But I wanted to share with anyone struggling to sit on their unwanted visitor!
Great adaptation Wavedancer , hopefully this will make things a little more comfortable until Sicilys demise.

Wavedancer, I am so impressed at your carving skills - let's hope you have a very short need of it too!
