Morning All,
Just wondered if anyone had been away on holiday post treatment and could recommend a credible Insurance company that they have used.
Thanks guys :-)
Hello PinkShells
We have travel insurance tied to our bank account but I am now not covered for cancer. But (and I am not advising this) my husband and I discussed it and decided to take the risk. The worst that could happen was that I would get some unexplained pain and we would immediately head home. Also, as we travel in Europe, we have the following which covers us for emergency care https://www.nhs.uk/using-the-nhs/healthcare-abroad/apply-for-a-free-uk-global-health-insurance-card-ghic/.
Hope you get something sorted that you are happy with!

Hi PinkShells , the MacMillan Online Community has a Travel insurance forum for cancer patients group where I got some good advice following my treatment in regards to travel insurance, just click on the link & join the group there will be lots of folks over there that can advise. Hope this helps.

Hi Pinkshells ,
I went with Staysure last year , it was before I started treatment . They didn’t cover me for anything cancer related but covered everything else . It was a reasonable price.
I need to contact them again to see how I get on , now I’ve had treatment , I’m trying to get some holidays in before my 6 month post treatment in July .
Goodluck
