OMG, I haven't been able to post here in MONTHS! But I got a message from Jaycee in my email and thought I'd try again to respond, and it's letting me!

I'm Suz, went through the treatment in March 2022 and am still in remission.

So excited to be back here! Hello to my old friends, and hugs to the new folks who have been swept into this offbeat, uncomfortable club. I'm so glad this group is here.

  • Hello Suz, I remember you!! Great to have you back - hope all is going well.

  • Just really pleased to see you again, Suz! xx

  • Hi Suz,

Nice to hear from you, hope you're well?

  • So pleased you’re back Suz, your absence was felt. How are you doing?

  • Thanks, dears. I'm doing okay. Just finished pelvic floor therapy—that was a trip.

I'm astonished at my own naivete despite my white hair. I thought it would be kegels, targeted calisthenics, squats, that sort of thing. I did NOT expect to order a 'wand' from a company called Intimate Rose and then become so well acquainted with it.....

But life is really good. Still have a fair bit of pain, but not enough to stop me having fun. At least until the next DRE!

    :) Suz

Of course I immediately went and Googled it (there really ought to be a laughing emoji on here!).  That looks like a really um..interesting piece of equipment!  But did it make a difference??  Do tell!

  • Ha ha, I think it's helping. It doesn't get inserted, per se, I just use it to push gently on the ring of muscle and hold, encouraging it to soften and relax.

She also worked with me on my fiber intake, and got it to where it's just about perfect (if I eat and drink my water appropriately.)

I-I just can't imagine using it for fun and games.

  • Hi Suz great to have you back. I must look that up as it sounds very interesting, all in the name of science of course Joy
