Interesting article in the DM today regarding a blood test that can see if our type of cancer may return…
Hi Prettypinkroses thanks for this, it's very interesting. My friend has recently been diagnosed with breast cancer and looking through the information the hospital gave her I spotted they test to see what the chances are of the breast cancer returning and wished that we had the opportunity to have such a test. It really helps the medical team to decide on the best course of treatment at the outset. I would love to know why some people have such a problem with HPV and yet others just shed the virus from their bodies without a problem. Hopefully one day research will provide an answer and even better, a means of permanently ridding HPV from our bodies stopping HPV related cancers before they begin. Fortunately we now have the HPV vaccines but that doesn't help those already exposed to the cancer causing strains of HPV. Bev
