Over the last week I’ve had a feeling of sharpness in my bottom, I’ve not started treatment yet so was just wondering if this is just part of it? Also having to strain to wee
Hi Sasue there are all sorts of aches and pains that come with a diagnosis of anal cancer, my tumour had ulcerated so towards the beginning of treatment I could not walk far at all. Not experienced the straining to wee. I see that you have now had your stoma, so in the first place I would give your treating team a call to report these new symptoms. You may also find it helpful to post in the following group for some advice in relation to any potential stoma issues https://community.macmillan.org.uk/cancer_experiences/ileostomy-and-colostomy-discussions-forum/ Bev.
