Hi,
I first came on in January after my initial diagnosis of anal cancer. I had all my scans done in early February and was about ten days off starting my chemo and radiotherapy when a colorectal surgeon called me into hospital to say he was going to surgically remove my ac. This was done in the 27/3/26. The pain was so bad I was screaming into a towel for a week after. I thought that was end of it but the oncologist said to me on Wednesday that I still need to have Chemoradiation as originally planned.
They thought I had grade one but when they got inside me it was bigger than they had realised. Could this be because it took almost three months after diagnosis for them to start treatment? She said it’s a grade two, possibly a grade three so they want to treat my lymph nodes. This is due to start 16/6/26. I have then got to go to Bart’s hospital to have laser treatment on some pre cancerous cells that they have found. Any ideas what this entail's?
