Evening, i have just done session 20 out of 28. I think i am bearing up ok. Sore bum the nurse gave me flaminal today to help with that and will monitor this. Tired late afternoons.
No other effects yet.
I am back on cap tablets after being sick on them at the beginning but then had the dose reduced and that is fine.
Just a silly question did anyone dye their hair in treatment or how long after finishing can this be done. I know its not that important in the grand scheme of things but i hate looking sooo grey.
After treatment was thinking of giving myself a month and then go back to work. Its only 2 days a week as a receptionist. How long did others have off?
Hi CJ62 I didn't dye my hair during treatment ( i was told not to )and I can't remember exact timescale but I finished treatment beginning nov 24 and I had it done (highlights) as soon as they could get me in after treatment which I think was before the end of the month. With regards to going back to work I think it was about 3 or 4 weeks after, I went back 5 days a week, i probably went back a bit soon but finances dictated. I would play it by ear if I was you and see how you feel, go back when you feel ready. Sending hugs. Xx
