I haven’t posted a lot in here, I must be honest. But when I was first diagnosed I trawled through the posts looking for the positive and good news posts for reassurance it would all be ok.
Well on Wednesday I too was told there’s now ‘No evidence of cancer’ this was after my 3 month scan. Like Georgie said previously, it’s a weird feeling. Friends n family keep saying we must celebrate but I really don’t know how I feel at the moment. I do feel I’ve been one of the lucky ones so far as side effects go, I do have a bit of urgency when needing the toilet but so far it’s manageable n hoping that will improve further.
The support and information in this group has been amazing so Thankyou to all you ladies who take time to answer all our questions and give advice, it’s been invaluable
I hope this post gives someone just a little reassurance that it will be ok
Jane
Thanks Angie. Wishing you well too n hope things improve quickly for you xx
Hello Jane
Another positive post - so happy to hear your news!
Irene xx
Hi Jane
that is excellent news, what a relief to hear those words , I agree that celebrating is a personal choice and unless you feel up to it is best to wait until you have processed the journey you have been through.
I had my 3 month MRI scan on Friday and now have a anxious 2 week wait to see the oncologist for the results
Did you have a CT scan too? I haven’t heard if I am getting one.
Take care and best wishes for the future

Thankyou hun x
Oh the wait for results really is the worst time, got everything crossed that you get good news too xx
No I only had an MRI and then examination when I saw the consultant. Plus he told me that I won’t need any further scans, he will just examine me every 3 months now for the next 2 years then it will go to every 6 months for another 3 years. Only if he finds anything of concern will he ask for a scan x
