My oncologist wants to start me on Novilumab (Infusion once a month). I finished my chemo on June 5th, 2021 and radiation completed on June 15th.
She is kind of pushing it as early after my treatment ended I had a CT scan of my pelvis and the lymph nodes had only decreased a little.
My biggest question for anyone who has received this immunotherapy is about side effects. I've read about tons of side effects (some serious and permanent) but my onco says there are few side effects.
I'd like to hear from others who have rec'd this immunotherapy medication so that I can make a reasonable choice.
