Yay finally finished my treatment. I've just chilled out for the last few days and it's been lovely and calm, instead of 6 hours travel everyday. I've thought about giving in a few times but I soldiered on and finally made the finishing line. It hasn't been easy I admit, more like a rollercoaster. I'm tired and the soreness and bleeding is really bad. But the tumour has shrank a great deal, and with the creams, painkiller medication etc, I can see the light at the end of the Tunnel. I don't post much but read quite a lot. I just want to thankyou all for all the help in this group and I'm sure I'll still be popping in for a long time. I start new chapter now ...the healing process.
Huge congratulations on the completion of your treatment , you’ve done fantastically well. As you say a new chapter now. Once the healing process begins I’m sure you’ll be surprised, like many of us were, how quickly it happens, the new skin especially forms really quickly.
It really doesn’t seem long ago at all that you joined us here & here you are through the other side! Just take it easy & get lots of rest over the next couple of week & let all of your energy go into healing. I’m so pleased you persevered & stuck with it.
Nicola
