Hi Siany
Am sorry that you have not yet had a reply to your post, but sometimes it can just take a little longer for someone in similar circumstances to see it and respond.
Welcome to the Online Community. I am sorry to hear that you have had a diagnosis and I hope that you will find the Online Community as helpful and supportive as I have.
It is good that you have had you PET CT and hopefully once the results come back you will be able to get your treatment plan. I know for me during my own cancer journey waiting for results was really tough. Once I knew what would happen and when, things felt a bit more in control.
My own cancer was endometrial but I remember whilst going through testing I did feel really tired also. I think the whole diagnosis and testing can really take it out of you- stress/emotionally plus any discomfort etc - like you are feeling in your neck is also tiring. If it becomes really uncomfortable or you feel you need something to help with it, do not be afraid to get in touch with your hospital or GP. I contacted my own GP for pain relief whilst waiting on a treatment plan.
Hopefully someone who is going through a similar diagnosis will now see your post and offer some more specific support.
Whilst you are waiting for someone to reply, why not give the Macmillan Support Line call and talk things through. You could also chose to speak with one of the nurses who would be able to answer any more medical questions.
I hope you do not have to wait too long for your scan results and I wish you well for your treatment. Please do get in touch if there is anything you need.
Jane
