I was diagnosed with AML one year ago. I have responded to a regime of venetoclax and azacitidine,
With a stop start approach, missing some months due to blood results.
I realise that a year at my age (77) is more than was predicted.
I started coughing a few days ago and yesterday I tested positive for COVID 19,
am now self isolating and waiting to see ifNHS think I need anti virus medication.
today I feel reasonably well, symptoms same as a head cold.
I wonder if anyone has a similar experience, any accounts of what to expect ?
thank you
When I caught Covid 2 years back I was assessed for antivirals and we decided that I did not need them and honestly I had had worse colds - hope you are the same.
Mike thank you, your experience is what I’m
hoping for, so far this is so similar to a head cold,
I was shocked by a positive result!
Happy Easter,
from Sakchi
