Hello all, Dad has done so well since I posted last year. He was given 2/3 months last October but responded really well to chemo and went into remission. Then 4 weeks ago he started getting breathless again after his latest chemo and a tooth infection. He has had two sets of blood and plasma transfusions and he is in hospital now having 2 pints and a plasma transfusion. he called to say they are going to give him weekly plasma. I’m guessing the leukaemia is back. Is weekly plasma a a really bad sign?
just want to prepare myself.
thank you all xx
