I have now had two lots of chemo and have now been given a date for the stem cell transplant. As hard as the Chemo as been and i expect more before the actual transplant its the long recovery that i am having trouble coming to terms with. Just want to know if anyone has the same feelings?
Hi and welcome to this corner of the Community.
I am Mike Thehighlander and I help out around our blood caners group but also our dedicated Stem cell transplant support group.
Although I have a rare type of skin NHL I have been through two Allo (donor) Stem Cell Transplants (hit my name for my story) so do understand the journey you are about to go on. Yes its rather draughting but for me it saved my life.
Could I suggest you join the Stem cell transplant Group and introduce yourself by putting up a new post as we have a few folks with AML in the group.
I will look out for you in the group.
Whatever cancer throws your way, we’re right there with you.
