had various issues but main ones

- serious allergic reaction to cyclosporine (anti rejection meds)

- dropped potassium levels and had spell in HDU

- strokes

- seizure /sepsis due to infection in picc line

- graft vs host disease

But through to other side and been steady for 10 months .

  • Hi  welcome to the community and well done you getting through your journey.

You may also want to check in with our dedicated Stem cell transplant group as a number of folks still hang around post SCT to support others on their treatment journey.

Although I had a rare skin NHL I had two Allo SCTs in June 2014 then Oct 2015 and eventually achieved remission in Sep 2016 for the first time in over 17 years and basically living the dream.

We also have this long running thread on the SCT group Life after a SCT - A Survivor's Guide where we have collected our post SCT ups and downs.

You can also see some of the members stories by hitting out community names.

    All the best.
