Hi
My Mum has been diagnosed with myelodyspasia after having NHL for 5 years. IThis site has given me invaluable info and the people on here are the kindest and bravest I have ever known.
I do not fully understand this illness, do not know what to look for and not sure what to do.
All I know is my wonderful Mum can no longer walk very far, is breathless and sleeps a lot of the day. The Dr's have told me that she will no longer get any treatment for this and to make her comfortable. This is breaking my heart and I just want to try and do whatever I can to make the hours she is awake, happy ones.
I tell her everyday how much I love her and now feel like that little girl who needs her Mum to look after her.
Please can anyone give me any advice
Thank you
M
