Hi,
We've heard some heart breaking news today that we getting nearer to the decision to have to move to palliative care for my Dad, aged 82. Please could someone tell me more about what this is likely to mean for next steps. Will he get a choice in where he will be? What support will we get as a family? Any advice would be much appreciated. We are based in Bristol. What can I do to help? How long do AML patients usually have once in palliative care?
Many thanks,
Tilly
