I was diagnosed with AML in 2019 and have had a bone marrow transplant. Had many inpatient stays since for different reasons and have now been told I'm "all good" but every day feels exhausting and need to have naps still. Is this normal?
Hi sorry to hear that your post Stem Cell Transplant (Bone Marrow Transplant) recovery is taking a long time. The body goes through a lot during SCT and the recovery takes far longer than you would hope or even imagine.
I did not have AML but a rare type of NHL but have had two Allo (donor) Stem Cell Transplants so totally understand the recovery.
Could I suggest you put up a post in our dedicated Stem cell transplant group as you will connect with other who understand.
