Hello all!
It has been a while since I have been on.
Went to the Dr today to get the results of a bone marrow biopsy from 9/23. Dr said something abnormal in my marrow showed up, however it is nothing related to the leukemia. I have been in remission for (3 years). I was so shocked and by myself, I did not ask exactly what showed up. He wanted to retest in a couple of weeks.
I had a relapse scare last year, it was a very low level and my body fought off that level of disease on its own. Had a year worth of neg biopsies (3). I had AML inv 16, M4, FLT3 positive, CKIT positive.
I am extremely stressed out at work, could that show up in your bone marrow/stem cells?
Had anyone ever had something like this happen? If so, what did it end up being?
Thanks everyone!
Texaschic I think of often - as u n my husband both had mrd and were gonna head for sct but mrd was fought off by immune system. I don’t have answer to ur question but am glad to hear it’s not aml return.... Cld u ring the doc to day to ask what it was? Put ur mind at rest?
