Hi, my mum was diagnosed with AML in july, total shock to us all. She had intense chemo for 24 hours 7 days, but after going for her bone marrow results she was told her bone marrow is 10, if was 5 they would do another course of chemo. So there now gonna give her the azacitidine injection, have read up on this but not sure if a cure? Any advice is greatly appreciated, from a worried daughter. Thank you..
Hi and welcome to the Online Community, although I am sorry to see you finding us.
Can I direct you to this link to our Acute myeloid leukaemia group as this will open up your concerns to a wider audience who know exactly what your mum is going through at the moment.
Just follow the link above, hitting ‘Join the Group’ tab just under the main group name, then go to the 'Start a Discussion' tab and set up your own Discussion and introduce yourself to the group - you could just copy an paste what you have in this first post.
