Hi, my wife has AML and been through chemo and transplant but mutations still present. Considering this treatment in Florida. But expensive and limited evidence of success. Interested if anybody knows anything about it.
Hi Peter753 and welcome to this corner of the Community although sorry to hear about your wife. I am Mike and I keep an eye on our various Blood Cancer groups.
I don’t have Acute Myeloid Leukaemia (AML) but i have been on my incurable Lymphoma journey for over 25 years and in the process I have had 2 Allo (donor) SCTs.
I searched the site and there were no hits on the Maharaj Institute but let’s look for group members to pick up on your post and get back to you.
Do also check out Leukaemia Care UK who run various support platforms including their Buddy Scheme, they also have a Support Line on 08088 010 444
Always around to help more or just to chat
