Anyone here on Azacitadine? My husband has recently started this, for AML. So far it seems ok, a few side effects but not as bad as his previous chemo. Just wondering what other people's experience with it has been.
Thanks for the reply Nick. My husband is on it because he can't have any other chemo. He had the high dose chemo in May, with the intention of him having 3 courses then sct, but reacted really badly to it so can't have further high dose chemo or sct. Its good to know it worked well for your wife. He's just on the injections not the tablets.
Are they continuing to give Azacitadine with a view to getting your husband into Remission and then move towards SCT.
That's what they did with my wife following relapse. They took her off the venetaclax 2 months prior to her sct as it was reducing her white blood cells to much.
