Hi I live in uk and have had breast cancer 3 times now and had a yearly policy which covered me and we got notice of an automatic renewal but as our credit card had changed they tried the old number and did not bother to inform us so the policy lapsed and now they have refused me cover as I do not meet the new criteria. Help!!

I'm sorry to hear that your previous insurer is no longer prepared to cover you.
I don't know if you'd had chance to look through the member's stories thread yet, as that's where the majority of recommendations for travel insurance from other forum members are. If not, clicking on the link I've created will take you straight there.
Most people recommend that you phone the insurance companies rather than try and do online quotes as often at the end of the online quote it will tell you to phone the company and you'll then have to go through all the information again. Also sometimes the broker can refer to the underwriters to see if they would provide cover when an online quote might just give you a straight refusal.
