I was struggling finding travel insurance. Here are my tips. Add yours below.
- Try single trip. I would normally buy multi trip so was searching for that but was not getting any results. I was then advised to try single trip and got quite a few result.
- Get everything ready. I have to declare multiple things and you need to work fairly fast or the websites time you out.
- I used a comparison site in the end so I did not have to enter the same info over and over again.

Although you've suggested using a comparison site most people here recommend that you phone the insurance companies, rather than do online quotes, as sometimes they can refer to the underwriters to see if they would provide cover when an online quote might just give you a straight refusal.
