Hi, I'm looking for travel insurance for myself and my partner for 4 days, but my dad has terminal cancer. He was due to die August 2026 but has now been given another 3 months approx. I can't find any insurers who will cover us if we need to cancel to be with dad, anyone know of any?

I'm sorry to read that your dad has terminal cancer and that you're finding it difficult to get travel insurance that will cover you if you need to cancel your holiday.
I don't have any experience of this myself but you might like to take a look at this thread as one of the poster's found a travel insurance company that would cover her "If my Dad's medical professional is happy to confirm in writing, before I book, that they don't anticipate my Dad declining significantly before the time of my holiday".
