I’m quite new to this forum having been diagnosed with stage 4 prostate cancer in August of last year. I have completed 6rounds of radiotherapy and PSA has been lowered and now on meds. It is now controlled. I also have AF which is also controlled. I still wish to do some travelling while I can and have been astonished at the cost of insurance even though my conditions are controlled. I’ve looked at some of the blogs but wonder if anyone has had a recent quote or recommendation for travel insurance.
many thanks in advance

Hi Johnp76 and a very warm welcome to the online community which I hope you'll find is both an informative and supportive place to be.
Unfortunately, as you've found, travel insurance premiums can be significantly higher when you've had a cancer diagnosis.
Have you had chance to look through the members recommended travel insurance thread yet, as you'll find lots of recommendations there from others who have got reasonably priced travel insurance?
In recent years I've used payingtoomuch.com and goodtogoinsurance.com to cover my foreign holidays and found them to be reasonably priced.
I hope you manage to get some reasonably priced insurance and, if it's with someone other than what is recommended in the thread I've pointed you towards, do come back and let us know so that others can benefit in future.
Anne
