Hi.
Ive just booked a two week cruise in August. My chemo finishes in July and I get a 3 month break from chemo
ive contacted a few insurance companies, one of which quoted me £5000 for a two week cruise
I had colorectal cancer in July 2025. Part of the bowel was taken, all went well until December 2025, when I went for an ultrasound thinking it was gall stones!! Turned out it had metastasised into my Liver. The prognosis was not curable but treatable. My chemo treatment is going very well with very encouraging CEA markers
my question (sorry a bit long winded, but wanted to give you all a bit of background information)
has anyone had success with getting affordable travel insurance please?
I am travelling as a solo traveller. My consultant has said I will be hit to go
looking forward to your replies , with hope
Stubby
Hello Stubby,
Have you tried Albert & Eddie, they're a comparison site owned by a company that also own a couple of other travel insurers. I've obtained competitive cover from them as have numerous others.
I hoe you can get sorted, let us know how you get on if possible.
