Hi Lady
I have had to claim twice since my first cancer diagnosis. The first time I had to cancel my booked holiday because I'd developed a second cancer, the second time was because I fell over and badly hurt my back.

Thank you . Who was your insurance
Company ? And was it easy to go ?
Lady
My first claim was with HSBC Bank, as the insurance was provided with the type of bank account I had at the time. The second claim was with Nationwide Building Society, again through my bank account.
Both were easy to do online, although I did have to download and print out forms for my GP to complete. From memory, the claim through HSBC took about 8 weeks to pay out from start to finish and about 4 weeks for Nationwide.
Just to add that as long as you have declared ALL pre-existing medical conditions and answered all questions truthfully when applying for travel insurance, there is no reason why any insurer shouldn't pay out if you have to claim.
Whatever cancer throws your way, we’re right there with you.
We’re here to provide physical, financial and emotional support.
