My husband has recently been diagnosed with a renal mass, likely TCC.
They wont insure until we have a def diagnosis
He is not being treated because of his age and co-morbidities.
Treatment will be symptom driven.
Can you recommend any insurers please

Unfortunately, it can be more difficult to get travel insurance after a cancer diagnosis.
Have you had a chance to look through the threads here called 'members recommended travel insurance' and 'recommended travel insurance' yet? If not, they're a good place to start as there are loads of recommendations from cancer patients who've successfully got travel insurance.
Personally I've used goodtogoinsurance.com and payingtoomuch.com, but I had a definite diagnosis at the time.
