Since I last posted on here, I phoned my surgery, as not heard back from hospital to see if they would put it in writing that I will be fit to travel on October 1st to Italy. The helpful receptionist said there is a procedure where I would need to pay for a letter from GP saying I'm fit to travel/fly and it could take up to a month, so I'm going ahead with it as don't seem to have any other option. She wasn't sure how much the letter would cost. Has anyone else had this problem?
