Just a thought about the NHS-Galleri trial which is being offered to people aged 50 – 77 years of age. This is a blood test looking to see if it can diagnose early cancers and requires giving blood 3 times over about 2 years. My husband and I signed up but now find it warns that if you are planning to purchase travel insurance you should check with your provider to make sure that taking part in this trial will not affect your ability to make claims in the future. We feel this is too risky! I felt I would mention it here as more of us may receive the invitation to join the trial in the coming weeks.
