travel insurance nightmare

Hi could someone please advise me on travel insurance , I have rung around a few companys  to get cover for my

mom who is 75 and is ongoing radiotherapy for bowel and cervical cancer, she has finished chemo and has got 5 weeks off radiotherapy

to do , we travel on the 12th may 2019 on a cruise for 12 days. all companys have refused please help.

    It might be difficult as the Insurance Companies  would class your Mum as being  in a treatment cycle even though it’s a break. A Cruise is also high risk.

     I have used insurancewith.com and Boots is also recommended

    Unfortunately, as you've found, it can be more difficult to find travel insurance when you have a cancer diagnosis.

    Have you had chance to look through the Recommended Travel Insurance thread yet as it's where we try to keep recommendations from other forum members who have obtained travel insurance? If not, clicking on the link I've created will take you to it and there may be companies recommended who you haven't tried yet.

    Most people recommend that you phone the travel companies rather than try and do online quotes as it's easier to explain to someone than try to do it online. 

    I do hope that you can get travel insurance for your mom.
