Hello Babyblueeyes
I am Brian, one of the Community Champions here on the online Community. I have just noticed your post has gone unanswered. I appreciate this is a very difficult time for you and your feelings will be all over the place.
Everyone of us is different and it's very hard to tell how long someone has at the end of life, my parents both tried hard to stay with us as long as possible but alas it was not to be and they both passed peacefully in their sleep.
Here's a link to help you care and understand mum's last few days - I appreciate it may be a "hard read" but reading this link will help;
Remember we are here for your Support and do telephone our Support Line on 0808 808 00 00 (8am to 8pm 7 days a week) for further support.
If I can do anything else for you please do get back to me.
Best wishes - Brian.
