My wife has brain cancer which has metastasized from breast cancer. She has at least 5 lesions, the biggest is around 2.5cm. She had 5 sessions of full brain radiotherapy and since then she is constantly fatigued. It’s around 8 weeks since the radiotherapy and she struggles to stand and walk more than 10 paces.
does this get better?
is there anything I can do to help?
is this the new normal?
she is due to start the tablet form of chemotherapy (capecitabine) within the next couple of weeks to prevent cancer in the rest of her body but I am worried that she isn’t strong enough to deal with it. But then what’s the alternative??

I’m Anne, one of the Community Champions here on the Online Community, and I'm sorry to read how your wife is struggling at the moment. Although I'm not a member of this group, I noticed that your post hadn't had any replies yet. Responding to you will 'bump' it back to the top of the discussion list again.
If you don't get any replies here, it might be an idea to also join and post in the secondary breast cancer group as you'll then connect directly with others who have the same type of cancer as your wife and who can share their experiences with you.
