My husband has stage 4 bowel cancer, he recently had to stop chemotherapy because they said he was not well enough to continue it and have given a prognosis of maybe 6 months. I have been taking care of him at home but he has been sleeping a lot and not eating much. This week his temperature has been between 35. and 35.6 all day every day, I want him to get checked out but he insists he feels OK and doesn't need to see anyone. He is not in any more pain than usual, and is alert and responsive. Is this a normal temperature for someone in his position and to be expected or should I call his oncology nurse ? He gets extremely stressed if he thinks he might have to go in.
