  • My husband has Pancreatic Cancer with Liver mets, he is Pallative 16months in from inital diagnosis. The last two weeks has been challenging as he seems to be deteriorating . His fatigue is worst, he complains of pain in his side and abdomen to me then backtracks when i suggest increasing pain meds.He is struggling head wise which he finds hard to cope with, I know hes frightened that this is it  as am i. I just wanted to moan as i feel helpless i just want to make this as comfortable and easy as i can for him. We may have an option of Chemo that may buy him a bit more time!  Im not sure if thats right, but its up to him ill support him.
  • Hi Vegas welcome to the forum and I am so sorry to hear about what has been happening for you both. It's OK to want to let of steam and you will find no judgement for doing that here,  because we can all relate, in different ways. It sounds like you are trying your best  in the most difficult of circumstances. It can be a very isolating experience caring for our loved ones at difficult times in life but I want to assure you that you are not alone. We will support as much or as little as you want us to do. If you felt that you wanted to chat with someone you can also give the Macmillan Line a call on 08088080000. Sending some hugs your way for now. X
