Hi I’m new to this group and just looking for some advice really. Mum was diagnosed a couple of weeks ago after having back pain the cancer was picked up by CT scan. Lesion on lung and bone mets in pelvic area. To say our family is shocked is an understatement! We just thought the back pain was down to arthritis so this has totally devastated us like it would with anyone affected by this awful disease. We know it’s not cureable but they are saying they can treat. My mum is to have a biopsy on 28th then we will meet the consultant. Really concerned. Any advice would be great.
Thanks
Hi Binijac, sorry to hear this about your mum. My name is Chelle, and I am from the Lung cancer forum
Please feel free to come over to the lung group and chat with the members there. There may be someone who can share their biopsy experience with you to make it feel less daunting. xx
