Hello. I have just signed up to the forum. My wife was diagnosed with terminal ovarian cancer (stage4a) 2 years ago. She had major debunking surgery and then has been through 2 courses of chemotherapy. She has just started a 3rd, weekly course. She has responded well to treatments so far but her oncologist has now started to put timelines into the discussions….6-8 months has been mentioned.
I have found dealing with the roller coaster of emotions very difficult. We all try to stay positive but it’s hard. I have joined up to reach out to others in a similar position to share experiences and seek mutual support.
Hi! I joined this forum due to my dads second diagnosis of Oesophagael cancer, I have found it helpful to chat with others who have been or are in a similar situation. There is no judgement and just open arms! I’m sorry about what you and your wife are going through, I can completely relate to the rollercoaster of emotions and the trying to stay positive. Some days I can be quite logical about it all and talk about it, then other days I just want to isolate myself and cry. Sending love x
