What to expect?

Hi my name is Lizzie and I'm new here.

My grandfather has terminal stomach cancer stage 4. He was diagnosed over a year ago and was given an 9-12 months life expectancy. He had his first health regression two months ago.

I know every case is different but I'm not sure of what to expect when his health declines. And what to expect towards the end?

  • HI LizzieBee30

a warm welcome to the group. Sorry no one has got back to you sooner.  So sorry to hear about your grandfather. Life can be too cruel.

I'm supporting my husband through his stage 4 brain tumour journey so to be honest yours is a question I've asked myself countless times. The first thing I would suggest is to talk to his medical team and ask their thoughts. Ask them about what changes or symptoms should be a cause for concern. I also called our GP to seek their advice and they really put my mind at ease about what I need to do when the day arrives that I need to reach out for help.

I searched on the wider website for some links that might help you here
