I’m new here thank you for letting me join x my darling husband has dementia he was diagnosed 18 months ago, he was rushed into hospital last Christmas Day with pneumonia he was left with a shadow on his lung the hospital thought it was from the pneumonia, 3 weeks ago we was told my husband had stage 4 lung cancer, last week he had another appointment at the hospital where they informed me it’s spread to his bones and they have given him 9/12 months, we have a son daughter in laws and grand and great grandchildren, we are truly devastated and heartbroken, we haven’t told him the news because he’s so confused with the dementia we didn’t think it would help, if you looked at him he looks so well apart from pain and weight loss, I don’t know what to do x
