My brother is in his 6th year of metastised melanoma, he has tumours in his thyroid (inoperable), his neck and spots on his brain. He has been given 3 weeks to live by one doctor. Another says he can have another year if he does extreme redio therapy which may make him unable to swallow. I am here to seek emotional support for my MOTHER. She is suffering terribly and her son, my brother, the sufferer is angry and pushing her away and making her feel even worse. I want to know if she could join up and talk to someone who might help her deal with her emotions?
Dear Ruari
i feel for your mother and you
its so hard to witness.
I hope someone responds here for you. Try posting this same message in the Melanoma forum.
you may be able to access some in person support local to you.
try asking the GP to refer her urgently to a local hospice who may be able to offer counselling.
I send strength to you
