I cannot fault Macmillan, mum was diagnosed with terminal Cancer just before Christmas and they came out to see her shortly after, also my mum only rang them again this morning after having a bad weekend with her mobility as shouldn’t couldn’t weight bear and the OT came out this afternoon and she is having a hospital bed delivered tomorrow and the OT is coming back tomorrow morning to help my dad move things around, absolutely amazing charity it really is, the Macmillan nurse is coming to see her tomorrow too. So really just a praise post for all connected with the Macmillan charity.
Hi Worried. That's really good to read that they've arranged a hospital bed so speedily and arranged for the Macmillan nurse to visit as well.
It's lovely to read a post praising all connected with Macmillan, I'll be sure to pass it on.
Best wishes, and gentle hugs to your Mum.

I agree. We are a year in to our journey and at the beginning when my husband was diagnosed, I didn't know where to turn or what to do. I spoke to a Macmillan nurse on the phone and he was amazing.. I have since found this forum a great source of information, support and comfort. Hats off to you all, thank you x
