Hi, this is my first time on this forum. My mum was first diagnosed with extensive sclc with met on liver in October 20. She had great results with her first chemo and radiotherapy, but unfortunately came back and she received more chemo, again this is back, my mum lives with me so I care for her, it's heartbreaking to watch her deteriorate so quickly and unable to do anything to help, I can't bare to think of what to future hold and how long we have left with her, I'm so so close to her. Mum's on lots of different medication, she wakes up in agony in the morning yhough and we've been told to use oramorph, it takes a while before it kicks in and helps th pain. She has also started to have a really loud crackling noise when she breaths which is frightening her. This started a couple of weeks ago but seems to be getting worse each day. I was wondering if anyone could give me ideas on how to help this? I know it's part of th airway blocked, but also sounds like a phlegm build up.
Thank you
