Just joined this site for the first time after a long sleepless night with my partner in pain. It's so hard just being quietly alongside and not being able to do or say anything. He has secondaries in bone and liver and unable to get comfortable. Hoping for a better day later this week, or trying to get my head round accepting that this may be as good as it can be.
Thank you. Appreciated. New to this forum today and already feel understood and am reading things that resonate. Sitting with feeling helpless and watching pain means I just have to hold steady. Thank you again - the shoulder bump meant more than some of the well meant but unhelpful things that my friends come up with. -
