I joined because my sister in law is very ill with lug cancer, then saw several posts about melanoma. In 2017 my husband was diagnosed wth stage 4 metastatic melanoma, there was a mass under his arm, nodes in both lobes of the liver, both lungs and the bone of the sternum and a short time only to live. I took him to the USA where he was given four infusions of Yervoy and Opdivo, he is now completely free of melanoma, totally cured. It is very expensive and the NHS don't like using it unless there is no other alternative, but it absolutely works.
Hi
I'm very sorry to hear that your sister-in-law is very ill with lung cancer but delighted that your husband is free of melanoma.
I thought that you might like to join us in the melanoma group as there are quite a few stage 4 people who are on various drug combinations, including the one that your husband had, and I'm sure they'd really benefit from a positive story.
To join just click on the link I've created and then choose 'join this group' on the page that opens.
I hope to see you over there.
