Hi everyone.
Yesterday was 4 years since my bone marrow transplant for relapsed AML . My life is virtually back to normal, very few side effects and I can do most things I used to running , cycling etc.
It wasn’t an easy journey by any means but thankfully I got there.
Unfortunately yesterday was a bittersweet day, no celebration only sadness as I lost my wonderful wife in March to aggressive bowel cancer, she died 5 months after diagnosis. She was my rock during my illness and never left my side. Life is very cruel sometimes.
I hope everyone going through their transplant journey has a smooth journey x
Mark
