Hello
I’m currently been treated for stage 4 Hodgkin lymphoma.
Im currently receiving treatment Brentuximab vedotin and Bendamustine .
I’m having this every 3 weeks.
I have the usual side effects such as nauseous and tiredness.
Ive just had my second dose and my skin has reacted it’s very red and plotchy on my feet, legs, tummy.
Is this a normal reaction? Will it go and when ?
Hospital prescribed some cream and antihistamine to take .
Will this rash be here the whole time I’m on treatment? I hope not !!!!
Thank you for listening and would really appreciate done advice .

Hi Caroline, skin reactions to the drugs used to treat any type of Lymphoma not just HL can unfortunately be normal. Let’s hope the creams and antihistamines do their job…… will this move it?…… time will tell.
I had a few bad skin reaction to a number of drugs used over my 22 years especially one of the drugs used during my second Stem Cell Transplant and it took a good few weeks to clear once the treatments were completed and that was with taking serious amounts of antihistamines ((hugs))
Thanks so much for your advice .
Fingers crossed it will settle down x
