Supposed to be going in for daughters line in tomorrow and then start conditioning chemo Wednesday but just got call to say CT scan not been reported on yet so not to put line in until they get this back then it’ll prob go to MDT then.
why do they tell you one date and you get yourself so hyped up and organised and then get it delayed? Is this normal. Just want it over with

Hi Ruth, yes this does happen and it’s so frustrating but every box needs to be ticked before the green light is given ((hugs))
Hi Mike
theyve just phoned to say can we come in to see consultant tomorrow. Now I’m panicking something is wrong from scan results.

Hi Ruth, I had a few of these calls (good and bad) and you just have to go expecting the unexpected and looking for positive news ((hugs)) xx
Hi Mike
sorry to go on..
I just don’t understand. I thought there was a plan now thinking something bad.
sorry again xx
From my long experience the plan is a basic route map to get this done but more than often there are diversions on the journey.
I know that this sounds rather simple but all the stress in the world will make no difference to what this appointment is about and what is said - look for positive news when you go ((hugs))
