Just reaching out for advice and reassurance. For the past year I have been having issues with my bowel, bouts of diarrhea and then bouts of constipation. 2 and a half weeks ago I started with a bad bout of diarrhoea which is still ongoing now. My stomach is so swollen that I look about 7 months pregnant. I have pain under my right rib and low down in my right abdomen and lower middle abdomen. Last night I had shooting pains in my bum. My fit test came back as above 200. They were apparently unable to test the stool sample I handed in at the gp as it was too liquid. I am in so much pain with my stomach and the noises it is making are awful. I keep belching very loudly and it smells like rotten eggs. Anyone else had similar symptoms. My referral was sent on tuesday for 2ww colonoscopy but not sure I can go on much longer with these symptoms. I cannot sleep incase I soil the bed. Any advice appreciated. Thanks.
