Pelvic Cyst - So Frightened With Conflicting Information

Hello, I'm new to the community and, like so many people, scared and awake in the middle of the night.  I feel as if I have landed in the middle of an unbelievable nightmare and just don't know what to think or do.

On Easter Saturday, and following a few days of an increasingly windy tummy, I felt a lump in my pelvic area and went to A&E only to be told I had a full bladder and needed a wee!  Oh really!  The next day, unable to produce anything that amounted to anything despite numerous cups of tea, I took myself to urology at my local hospital.  They were amazing and after unsuccessfully catheterising me, suggested that the problem might not be bladder-related.  I was immediately sent off for CT with contrast and amazingly, one hour later, it was reported to show a very large simple pelvic cyst 13x8cm.  I was seen by gynaecology the same day who took bloods and ordered an MRI with contrast.  Since then my CA125 is reported as 13 and findings on MRI as "unremarkable" with probability of cystadenoma.  However, on NHS App my condition shows "complex" cyst with the word "significant".

I have seen two consultants now, the first said the cyst is benign, the second said he was not concerned but clinical letter says total laparascopic hysterectomy plus/minus omental biopsy.  What does this mean?  Are they, like me, concerned that when they open me up, the cyst will be malignant, or is this standard wording?  My surgery is not until 30 July but I may well have died of fright by then.  Has anyone had a similar experience?  Were you able to find anyone to give you advice?  I was seen in the oncology clinic (which wasn't reassuring) and I was given the CNS number to call if I had any concerns. However, when I called I was told there was no appointment to speak to someone until 19 May - this seems almost inhuman.  If you are worried, do you have to wait a fortnight (I called last week) to speak to someone?

Any thoughts would be so hugely appreciated.

BTW - am very definitely post-menopausal!
